please know with faith that your darkness is as beautiful as your light, as beautiful as all other aspects of your being. in fact, your light shines that much brighter and stronger when it shines forth out of the darkness. each smile truly does mean that much more when contrasted with the pain.

just as others’ humanity touches your spirit, realize that it is in your humanity where you will find the strength and courage to best serve the world.

this place truly is one of polarization and of contradiction. humanity is ever-present within the seeming contradiction of overwhelming light and immense darkness. how valuable! how healing! find peace in your light and your dark, in your humanity so that you, too, might heal the world by means of your spirit. the world so needs healing. look at yourself with the same eyes that you use to view the world and have endless faith in that healing.
